The aim of the project is to share knowledge about common roots used by pilgrims or tradesmen linking to their past and the Mediterranean areas.
The “Francigena pilgrimage and trading route” embraces all countries involved (France, Italy, and Malta); it starts in Canterbury and finishes in the Holy Land (Jerusalem), therefore unifying the Mediterranean theme.
At the end of the project, we hope our students would have improved their skills of:
– cooperative learning
– learning by doing
– negotiation
– communication
– interaction
– multilingual (language literacy using English as a medium)
– digital skills
– cultural awareness and expression
– being active citizens
